You will need my frame and tube
here or a tube
of your own
Open a new transparent canvas 600x400
Copy and paste the frame as a new layer onto the canvas
With your magic wand set on RGB and tolerance 14-select the centre
of the frame
Selections -modify-expand by 2
Add a new layer and flood fill with a gradient of your choice to
match the tube. Use the linear style for the gradient and the angle
and repeats on 0
Still selected-effects-texture effects- straw wall on the default
setting. Select none and layers-send to the bottom.
Layers merge visible
Layer-duplicate-image flip
Arrange the two layers so that one is above the other with a small
space in between. The size of space is up to you and you may want to
change it when you have add the tube.
Copy and apste the tube as a new layer and arrange all the layers to
suit you.
When you are happy-layers merge visible and add a drop shadow of
your choice. I used the default srop shadow setting but changed the
horizontal to minus 2 and the vertical to 2. The settings you use
will depend on the tube tou have chosen and the way you positioned
it so experiment until it looks right.
Add a new layer and flood fill it with the gradient you used before.
Effects-texture effects-soft plastic on the default setting.
Layers -arrange send to the bottom
Image-add border-size 2 -black--or add a border of your choice.
With your selection tool on a shape you would like to use-I used the
star2 shape- select a part of your tube in a size you want .
Edit copy-edit paste as a new layer.
Select none and move the shape into the position you would like it
to be-add the drop shadow you use before.
Layer duplicate and image flip.
Arrange the shapes again until you are happy with
them.
Layers merge visible
Add a new layer for any text you wish to add to your tag.
Layers merge visible
Image resize as you wish.
That's the tutorial finished.
I hope that you enjoyed doing it.
