Amusements on the seafront
Danes dyke
You can't imagine how deep this ravine is by looking at a photograph or how high the trees are. They are well over 100 years old as Danes Dyke was once the garden of a big house built in the early 1800s. Will have to see if I can find anything out about it as I am not sure of the history.

One of the hens on its nest--they love crisp packets for their nests
Ducklings eating the weeds
Two baby hens waiting for a feed
All fed now and settling down on their crisp packet bed.

Thornwick Bay
Tiny butterfly on a daisy plant on the cliff top
close up of butterfly both the daisies and the tiny butterfly looked out of place on the very dry cliff top path
A very small farm at Flamborough with allsorts of lovely animals
Our garden a few weeks ago-Vic had decided he wanted to grow vegetable again and had started to dig a small bed that he said would be enough with the patch at the side as well
Our garden now--all changed with lots of veggie beds and still room for a small lawn and flowers.
Salad leaves in the hanging basket--they are delicious and you just keep cutting some and they come again. The covers on the bed in the middle are fleece--I made those to keep the small plants warm and the hose can be connected to a simple watering system for when we are away.
The broad beans are doing really well and the flowers are pretty and smell delicious. Right that is all for the mixed bag.
Hope you enjoyed looking at the pictures
