We went for the first long walk in a long time and came back into town on the bus as we found it tiring. All round we did walk over 9miles so a good morning out for sure.
We decided to go a long way around and went past the college and through the cemetery. It looks lovely and sunny but it was freezing cold with a biting wind.
I had on a long sleeved thick t shirt-a long sleeved jumper-a hoody jacket and my pink mack and 2 pairs of trousers lol.
Coffee and biscuits in the sun--it was really warm here--the picture isn't as good as I took it with my i-pod.
Taken by me these gardens have just been planted with pansies
Me again at the side of where we sat for coffee-this tree is a cork screw hazel
Me again-Victorian green house-you can buy plants there and through the black gate. They have a project for special needs people who learn all about plant preparation and how to serve people who buy plants.
Me again--wish it had been Vic's camera but his hands were too cold to take his gloves off and I can work my camera with my gloves on lol. There are loads of snowdrop out but you can't really see them on this picture.
More snowdrops
Back to Vic's camera- a very old yew tree.
The same tree -a different angle
Green rucksack lady
Our favourite tree that we always give a hug
Interesting sky and huge monkey puzzle trees
Trees can be so pretty even without leaves.
Well not as many pictures as usual but we are just getting into the swing of things again so I am sure there will be more on the next walk if it isn't so cold.
Hope you enjoyed the winter walk.
