This all started with a challenge at Just for Fun

The challenge was to use acrylic or plastic to make something crafty. I have never known what to do with either really so I had to think hard. I did have an idea about stained glass and managed to make two things for the challenge--this is how to make one of them

You need to stamp or print a circular picture onto acrylic and the same one onto a piece of card. My image was made in Paint Shop Pro and printed but you could use your own medium to colour your images--make them the same though if possible.

Cut out the circles and leave a small tab on each--one opposite the other-I did turn this picture on its side so one of my tabs was at the top and one at the bottom. Find the exact centre of each circle and make a mark that you can see.

Place the images together with the acrylic one on the top. Make a hole through both the circles--Vic is holding the bradawl and it isn't quite in the centre on this picture lol Fortunately he didn't punch the hole-I did that later

Put a brad through both the layers and just open it loosely so the circles can move around-I did use a daintier brad for the finished product-this was just to show how loosely it should be fitted

Here is the finished 'Kaleidoscope'

Now you can play with it as you wish-get the kids to make one it could be fun

Different positions-different pattern each time

Now I can hear you saying that I should get a life lol so I have adapted this to make a card

Here it is. You have to fasten down the card layer but the acrylic can move around. I covered the tag bit with a flower and put one top match on the greeting

Go on have a go you know you want to :)
