I am combining 2 walks on this page as both were done in June and we didn't take too many pictures on either of them. The first one is a walk in good old Scarborough again with places that we hadn't been before and some that we had only seen in the mist.

The second is only half a walk really as we saw a storm brewing and scurried back for the bus as there is only one every 3 hours from North Frodingham to home.

Nice view of Scarborough Bay from the Rotunda roundabout

Bay and castle on the hill

Open topped bus at the Spa

Coffee in the Spa open air theatre-the band were doing a concert later that morning

People swimming in the sea

An interesting bit of wall and cliff along the path

A great place for beach huts would love to have one of those

Looking back toward Scarborough-look at the sky

Where we are heading--the path on the right

Lots of wonderful wild flowers along this stretch of the coast. This is Hawkbit. We have one plant in our garden which Vic's mum dug up from in between her paving stones. She lives along the seafront in Bridlington so I guess they are a seafront plant.

One type of orchid that we saw along the walk

Another type of orchid along the way. I am sure not many people notice the orchids or any of the other wild flowers but I just love all wild flowers and seem to spot them straight away.

This used to be an open air swimming pool way back when. Not sure what it is now but it looks interesting from half way up the cliff.

A well earned sausage roll and mug of coffee for our photographer. This is a very old cafe with lots of character and views to die for.

Coffee and hidden chocolate muffin for the photographers assistant lol.

ANOTHER DAY AND A WALK AT NORTH FRODINGHAM

On our way to 'who knows where'. Well we had hoped it would be to a place called Top Hill Low but the weather had other ideas. Has that woman only got one t shirt?

Using the new little stools that Linda bought for us. They are as light as a feather and Vic just popped them in his rucksack. A great addition to our days out as I find it hard getting up and down if we sit on the grass--poor old thing!

Lovely wild flowers along the way

I think this might be angelica but I'm not sure so if you know otherwise please will you let me know

Fancy gates out in the wild

Along the edge of the water

Lots of boats moored here-I think people live in them.

About now we decided we would turn back as it was still a very long way to our destination and the rain clouds were gathering

Lovely organic farm with cows and chickens. The chickens all look fluffy and happy unlike the ones in the battery farms.

This is a posh fishing place with some beautiful natural ponds that have been filled with huge carp--up to 45lbs each it said on the notice. Nice place to fish though I imagine the club fees are sky high

another of the fishing ponds--they had loads of waterlilies on them

More flowers

Hope you enjoyed the walks and I am sure you won't be tired as they were both quite short.
